About Dr. Gerry Palmes

Born and raised in San Diego.. went to Hage, Wagenheim, Scripps HS. During that time Dr. Palmes grew up an active kid, loving sports and playing outside. Growing up he knew nothing about chiropractic and didn’t find out about it until he was attending UC-Irvine. His interest in human physiology along with the simplicity and effectiveness of chiropractic care led him down the path of becoming a chiropractor.

After graduating chiropractic school he was an associate at a busy practice in Livermore, CA. He moved back to San Diego in 2015 to be closer to family. He opened his own practice in 2018 in Scripps Ranch (near Filippi’s pizza). He wants to help people by addressing the cause of their health issues and not just address their symptoms. His mission is to help families and individuals with health issues thrive and not just survive so that they don’t feel broken or insignificant. He stands for a world where health leads to the enjoyment of life, where people can be the best version of themselves allowing them to have a greater impact on the world.

When he’s not at work he loves to learn about human psychology and travel. He loves to box, rock climb and be active. Recently engaged, waiting for the COVID virus to pass so he can plan his wedding.
